For many of us, the place where we eat is the center of the home. We have rich memories of family gatherings, often at ‘Grandma’s table’, Sunday lunches, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. The table was often a place where kids did their homework, pumpkins were carved and even family game night took place. This is why we love what we do! It is a privilege to build a place for your family to gather.
Our aim is to build Heirloom Pieces, to be passed from one generation to the next. This is one of the reasons we only build with good quality hardwoods that are going to pass the test of time.
Our mission is simply ‘Bringing Families Back to the Table’. At a time when so many meals are eaten out, in front of the TV and where smartphones sometimes win over conversation and laughter, we LOVE bringing the focus back on to family and friends - unhurried meals to build memories around.
Over the last few years, we have built hundreds of tables - mostly for families, but also for restaurants such as The White Pillars in Biloxi MS (click the link below to see our range of tables there), as well as others in San Diego, New York and Washington DC, and Mississippi State University in Starkville. So far, we have customers in over 15 states.
I live in Brandon MS and often meet customers in local coffee shops or, if needed, in their homes as my workshop is in Walnut Grove. We use Facebook and this website as our virtual showroom which also gives the opportunity for you to check out our customer reviews. We are in the process of developing the showroom in Walnut Grove, but you are always welcome at the workshop although it can be a bit hot and dusty!
Below are two short video clips that say so much about why the table can be the center of family life.
Please take a moment to watch them. They say it all!
